Dry Ice

By cooling liquid carbon dioxide past the freezing point, dry ice is produced. In addition to square blocks of dry ice, we have explored new technologies to produce various sizes and shapes to fit the applications of dry ice.

Dry ice has the great property of sublimation directly into carbon dioxide gas, without going through the liquid state. This allows dry ice to be used for instant cooling and cold storage of foods and other perishable items.

Dry Ice Blasting

Dry ice blasting utilizes high pressure and tiny pellets of dry ice to clean surfaces. An alternative to sand blastings and using corrosive chemicals or abrasive material for clean up, dry ice blasting offers the following benefits:

  • No harmful chemicals involved
  • Reduced clean-up time
  • Suitable for different types of surfaces, including: metals, plastics, ceramics, and fiberglass
